Widgets and theme blocks

ReviewTrix storefront UI ships as a Theme App Extension — not a paste-in Liquid snippet.

Admin settings

In Widget settings you can typically configure:

• Accent color and basic typography
• Reviews per page / layout options
• Whether the product-page submission form is enabled
• Media (photo/video) display toggles where available

Use the live preview in admin before publishing theme changes.

Theme editor

1. Online Store → Themes → Customize
2. Open a product template
3. Add the ReviewTrix star rating and review list blocks (and Q&A block if you use Product Q&A)
4. Enable the app embed if your theme lists one for ReviewTrix
5. Save

No theme Liquid code edits are required for Online Store 2.0 themes.

Performance

Widgets are designed to stay lightweight. Avoid stacking multiple third-party review apps on the same PDP.
